چکیده

For a train moving along curved path, centrifugal forces are induced in addition to gravitational loads. In this paper, the 2.5D approach for loads straight path is extended treating both vertical and horizontal path. Firstly, closed-form solutions problem derived cases of Then, with finite/infinite elements Cartesian coordinates summarized. By approximating by number small chordwise segments using simulate each segment, displacements global polar obtained summing up those segment local coordinates, considering time lags direction changes. linear systems, responses due radial can be computed separately. numerical simulation, theory presented will verified two typical cases. The frequency-splitting phenomenon found exist loads, as well over response force cannot ignored, displacement outside railway track larger than that inside. Such an effect should considered design paths highspeed railways. method herein adopted solve problems varying radius curvature.

Multidimensional WKB Approximation for Tunneling Along Curved Escape Paths

Asymptotics of the perturbation series for the ground state energy of the coupled anharmonic oscillators for the positive coupling constant is related to the lifetime of the quasistationary states for the negative coupling constant. The latter is determined by means of the multidimensional WKB approximation for tunneling along curved escape paths. General method for obtaining such approximation...

Physical constraints on feedrates, feed accelerations along curved tool paths

To achieve a desired fixed or variable speed (feedrate) along a given curved path, CNC machines employ independent motors to drive each of their axes in a time-coordinated manner. There are physical limits to the torque and power that the motors can supply, and the machine performance is compromised if the demands of overcoming machine inertia, cutting forces, and friction exceed these limits. ...

Behaviour of Spin-half Particles in Curved Space-time

We study the behaviour of spin-half particles in curved space-time. Since Dirac equation gives the dynamics of spin-half particles, we mainly study the Dirac equation in Schwarzschild, Kerr, Reissner-Nordström geometry. Due to the consideration of existence of black hole in space-time (the curved space-time), particles are influenced and equation will be modified. As a result the solution will ...

Deformation Due to Inclined Loads in Thermoporoelastic Half Space

The present investigation is concerned with the deformation of thermoporoelastic half space with incompressible fluid as a result of inclined load of arbitrary orientation. The inclined load is assumed to be linear combination of normal load and tangential load. The Laplace and Fourier transform technique are used to solve the problem. The concentrated force, uniformly distributed force and a m...
